It was always fun to listen to my grandparents telling about the days growing up in Italy, and their journey to America.
My mother was good at telling stories too, but for some reason when she wrote them they weren’t quite as interesting.

I’m sure that someone could be more interesting and animated and exciting by ‘telling’ rather than writing. The listeners may not be avid readers of anything.
